How to Play the Music on your Phone or smartwatch with Chinese Smartwatch
Most of Chinese smartwatches don’t have large storage space. Usually, they have a small RAM or ROM/flash memory enough to run the operating system and other applications available in the smartwatch.
If you have a Chinese-made smartwatch especially wearable that is a clone, whether it’s series 7 or 8 as well as ultra. You can still enjoy some music or audio without the need of storing the file in your smartwatch. Almost all new smartwatches right now whether its premium or in the affordable category have support for “ music control functions”.
But how to play the music on your smartwatch as well as your phone? Well, we do have some tutorial below on how to set your smartwatch to play the music on your phone and vice versa.
Playing the Music on your smartphone (Using the speaker of the smartphone to play the audio)
When your smartwatch is connected to your smartphone via the support app and Bluetooth
- The music or MP3 file is played directly in the smartwatch by default
- The settings on the Bluetooth audio settings, see screenshot below has three settings for your smartwatch.
- Phone Calls (Connected to Phone Audio)
- Media Audio ( Use for media audio)
- Contact Sharing ( Use for Contact Sharing)
As you can see, the media audio is turned on by default. When you use the music control, the smartwatch will use the built-in speaker to play the music of the smartwatch. You can listen to the music on your smartwatch directly.

But what if I want to Play Music on my Phone?
If you like to play the music on your phone, and listen to the built-in speaker of the smartphone
Go again to the Bluetooth settings, Go to the Audio Settings that your smartwatch is using. Tap on the “Media Audio”, disable this function, by switching the toggle buttons to off.
About the Music Control Function in Smartwatches
The Music Control Function, or Remote Music feature, allows you to play, stop, forward to the next music on your phone with your smartwatch. For some smartwatches, users can even adjust the volume directly in the wearable. This function works when the smartwatch is connected to the smartphone and support app via Bluetooth.
