Before you download, and install the app, there are some things that you need to check first if your smartwatch is capable of downloading, and installing a WhatsApp application on the smart watch.

  • Check if you are connected to the web, either WIFI or Mobile data
  • You need 1 GB of RAM, and not less than 16 GB of storage space to avoid any issues
  • Google Play Pre-Installed

How to Download, and Setup the WhatsApp App

 1. Go to Google Play Store

2. Search for WhatsApp application, download the file. It will be automatically installed on the app.

3. Open the app on your smartwatch, you can now login or sign-up for a WhatsApp account.

 Take Note: Due to the small screen of the smart watch, it is much better if you signup first on a much bigger screen such as smartphone or tablet. Then just login on WhatsApp application making it much faster to register, and login.

How to Register to WhatsApp

1. Open the app, choose the language that you want

2.Tap to Agree and Continue

3. You Need to Enter your Phone number (Choose a Country, and phone number). Agree to WhatsApp permission (Allow)

4. WhatsApp will ask to verify your phone number, and will send you a One Time Password.

5. Another permission, allow the application to access your contacts, photos and other media.

6. It will also ask to access music, and audio on the device

7. Next is to set your Profile, this includes your Name, and Photos

8. You have an option to set a Passkey or Skip it.

9. You are not successfully registered to your WhatsApp account.
